Nora and the others

Ivy was the name of the woman I played. Ivy is clumsy, shy and lonely. But she does not want to show that. At her job she is head over heels in love with her boss, even though she has a family with two children. But when Nora, an emancipated woman who has taken the step of freedom and left her family behind, also starts working in the factory, her world turns upside down. Suddenly, she has to ask herself questions that she has deliberately avoided in recent decades.

For me personally, this project was very challenging. The play is based on Elfriede Jelinek’s “Nora has abandoned her husband.” I had to go through it a few times before I understood exactly what it was all about. But it was worth it. It was a lot of fun to play this piece. Unfortunately there is no recording of the play but some great pictures.
